NBA: Sun’s part of a possible butler deal?

It has been known for some time that the Phoenix Suns are looking for an upgrade to the Point Guard position. Apparently the Suns could get involved in a possible deal with Jimmy Butler.

According to information from ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Phoenix could be the third team to join a possible butler trade and pilot a point guard to Arizona.

Keith Smith of RealGM.com also confirms that the Suns, like the Kings, are willing to participate in a butler deal.

For example, if Goran Dragic were to switch to the far north in a deal between the Miami Heat and the Minnesota Timberwolves, Jeff Teague could become available to the Suns, Woj explains.

Furthermore, the Suns should also be interested in Wolves-Backup Tyus Jones. After Phoenix Brandon Knight left the trade for Ryan Anderson in Houston, the Suns are looking for a replacement. Apparently Patrick Beverley, Cory Joseph or Spencer Dinwiddie are on the wish list of the Suns.
