It’s time again – the Ryder Cup starts into its next edition (NOW in the LIVETICKER). At SPOX you can find out where you can follow the golf event on free TV or livestream.
The Ryder Cup is probably the most spectacular, but also the most untypical golf event of the year. The duel between Europe and America brings golf to a wide audience every two years. And only for the second time in its history will the Ryder Cup be held on the European mainland.
The 2018 Ryder Cup will take place on the extensively renovated L’Albatros square near Paris in France. The main event starts on Friday 28 September at 8 am with the first day of the tournament. The winner will then be chosen on Sunday, 30 September on the 3rd day of the tournament.
The event will be broadcast exclusively by PayTV channel Sky from 25 to 30 September. A new pop-up channel called Sky Sport Ryder Cup HD was set up specifically for the Ryder Cup. In addition to the live broadcasts, films with special highlights from the Ryder Cup history can also be seen there.
Of course, Sky Sport Ryder Cup HD is also available via the Sky Go streaming service. Golf fans can also follow excerpts of the “hardest major in the world” via the free livestream on skysport.de:
Alternatively, SPOX offers a daily live ticker with which you will not miss a thing. This way.
Unlike “normal” golf tournaments, the Ryder Cup has no prize money. The golfers in Team Europe or America fight solely for fame.
