Shortly before the start of their preseason, the Chicago Bulls had to cope with a violent shock. Power Forward Lauri Markkanen has injured himself and will be absent for a long time.

Markkanen injured her elbow during training on Thursday. As the franchise announced on Friday, an MRI showed that there was a severe sprain. Markkanen will have to pause for six to eight weeks and miss at least the first month of the Regular Season.
