MLB: Two deciding matches on Monday!

Even after 162 matches, the winners of the National League Central and West have not yet been determined. All four teams that were eligible won on Sunday, so there will be two final matches on Monday.

The Colorado Rockies beat the Washington Nationals 12-0 at home in the distance duel for the NL West. Outfielder Charlie Blackmon even beat Blackmon for a cycle. At the same time the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the San Francisco Giants in the Bay Area with 15:0.

In the fight for the NL Central the Milwaukee Brewers won 11:0 against the Detroit Tigers. The Chicago Cubs beat the St. Louis Cardinals 10:5 in their home Wrigley Field.

The result of all this is that the opponents are still on the same level and must now play the winners of each division in a one-game tiebreaker.

Specifically, the Chicago Cubs will receive the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday at 19:05 CEST at Wrigley Field. Afterwards the Los Angeles Dodgers will meet the Colorado Rockies at 22.09 CEST at the Dodger Stadium.

The respective winners move directly into the NLDS, the losers meet on Tuesday in the Wildcard Game.

Meanwhile there will be two deciding games, on the same day as well, for the first time ever in the history of the MLB.
