Le’Veon Bell is planning a return to the Pittsburgh Steelers. According to an ESPN report, the running back will see Week 8 before returning.
However, the ideas of Bell and the Steelers seem to diverge. According to the report, the player wants to run again for the Steelers, who had considered a trade in the course of the strike. Recently they had announced to let Bell go for a 2nd round pick and another player and actively offered it on the market.
The 26-year-old is, however, supposed to imagine a long-term future in Pittsburgh despite recent ongoing disputes. “I’m of the opinion that it will come to this. I don’t think they really want to get rid of me,” he made his view of things public. He continues to hope for a long-term contract.
Bell had recently spared himself in anticipation of a possible trade. However, if he wants to return to the field for the Steelers, he must become active again. He could return on October 28th against the Cleveland Browns. According to his own statements Bell is fit enough to play “tomorrow” again.
