NBA: Recruiting from KD? LeBron denies

In the summer there were some rumours that LeBron would like to bring James Kevin Durant from the Golden State Warriors to the Los Angeles Lakers. On the sidelines of the match between the two teams, the King denied these messages.

“Absolutely not. That’s completely wrong,” James said to Mark Medina of Mercury News when asked if he wanted to recruit Durant in the summer. In the Free Agency there were reports that LeBron contacted KD to play together at the Lakers.

“We never talked about anything like this,” LeBron reiterated. Durant signed a new contract with the Warriors instead, but can become a Free Agent again next summer if he doesn’t pull his team option over $31 million.

LeBron James, on the other hand, signed a four-year contract in the City of Angels. By 2022, the King will be collecting $153.3 million.
