NBA: Westbrook missing in opening match against Warriors

Russell Westbrook will miss the opening of his Oklahoma City Thunder against the Golden State Warriors. This was confirmed by ESPN and OKC insider Royce Young via Twitter.

Westbrook had undergone an athroscopic surgery on his right knee on September 12th and trained again with the team. However, he was not yet able to do all the exercises with full contact.

Dennis Schröder will play against the Golden State Warriors at the Point-Guard-Position. He might have to get along without his pick’n’roll partner Steven Adams. According to Royce Young, the center is questionable.

RW0 will continue to be listed as Day-to-Day and could therefore be used in the night from Friday to Saturday against the Los Angeles Clippers for the first time in the 2018/19 season.
