NFL: Trade! Browns give Hyde to Jaguars

The Cleveland Browns have traded Running Back Carlos Hyde to the Jacksonville Jaguars. This was confirmed by the franchise on Friday after NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport had previously reported on the deal.

According to Rapoport, in return for the trade, the Browns will receive a five-round pick from the Jaguars in Draft 2019.

Hyde only came to Cleveland this summer as an Unrestricted Free Agent and is currently Rushing Leader with 382 yards and five touchdowns.

After the injury caused loss of starting running back Leonard Fournette, who had already missed the last three games, Hyde will strengthen the backfield of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The 28-year-old was active for the San Francisco 49ers for four seasons prior to his Cleveland engagement and has been just under 1,000 rushing yards in the Bay Area for the past two years. He ran for 14 touchdowns.
