NHL: Draisaitl gala too little – Kahun gives assistant

Ice hockey international Leon Draisaitl (22) has not been able to prevent the fourth defeat of the season for Edmonton Oilers in the NHL despite a double pack. The attacker scored at 5:6 after extra time against the Pittsburgh Penguins to the interim 1:1 and 5:4.

Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby decided the game in extra time after 2:12 minutes.

Draisaitl’s national team colleague Tobias Rieder scored the Oilers’ third goal, his first scorer point in Canadian kit. After seven games Draisaitl already stands at four goals and four templates.

Olympic silver medallist Dominik Kahun continues to do well. The NHL newcomer introduced the 3-1 success of his Chicago Blackhawks over the Anaheim Ducks with the template to 1-0. It was the fifth assistant for the 23-year-old and the attacker scored a goal. In the Ducks, defender Korbinian Holzer (30) was still missing due to injury.
