Alpine skiing: 1st DG of the women’s giant slalom in Sölden on shortened distance

The first round of the first season race in the 2018/19 Alpine Ski World Cup will take place on a shortened course. Due to rising winds and poor visibility in the upper part during the competition, the start of the women’s giant slalom in Sölden was moved down to the reserve start shortly before the steep slope. The start time is still 10.00 a.m. (in the SPOX-LIVETICKER).
