NBA: Foot injury: Theis is longer out again

Center Daniel Theis of the Boston Celtics will again be longer due to an injury.

The national player pulled a tear in the tendon plate in the right sole of his foot and will be out for “an indefinite period”. This was announced by Celtics (4-2) on Monday.

Theis had shown his best performance of the season with 17 points and eight rebounds in 19 minutes at the 109:89 victory against the Detroit Pistons on Saturday. On average he scored 6 points and 3.4 rebounds in the new season so far and scored 40 percent of his three.

It wasn’t until March that Theis had a torn meniscus in his left knee and missed the rest of last season.
