The debate about who is the best player of all time is not only a concern for fans of the NBA, but also for the NFL, for example. Now Michael Jordan has taken part via NBC.
In the coming week, the TV station will broadcast the duel between the New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers, in which two quarterbacks, Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers, will appear regularly in the GOAT debate (the game can be seen live on DAZN in Germany). To mark the occasion, the station produced a broadcast note with Jordan, who was supposed to give his opinion on the topic.
“There’s a lot of talk these days about who’s the best of all time. Who has the most titles, the most raw talent, the most clutch moments. I understand that – it’s a difficult decision. I mean, even the jersey number is the same. But perhaps the best way to end this debate is simply to play it off. Man to man,” Jordan said. “I’d look into that.”
The statements related to Brady and Rodgers, both of whom are on the 12. As you know, Jordan again played with the 23 that LeBron James is wearing today, which is often compared to Jordan in the basketball GOAT debate. This parallel of course didn’t escape James, who already reacted on Sunday night and jokingly wrote “I’M READY” on Twitter.
A duel between the now 55-year-old Jordan and James, who is over 20 years younger, will of course realistically no longer take place – the debate that MJ addressed in the spot will therefore continue to be conducted only verbally.
