The New Orleans Saints apparently continue to look for ways to strengthen their offense. The leader of the NFC South invites Bryant and Brandon Marshall to a workout on Tuesday.
Still on Sunday the Saints defeated the previously unbeaten rams with a dominant offensive performance. Now Drew Brees could get another all-pro caliber into his weapons arsenal.
According to a report by NFL Network, the Saints Dez have invited Bryant and Brandon Marshall for a workout on Tuesday. In addition, the former Raven Kamar Aiken will be a guest.
Bryant has been without a team since April. The 30-year-old was dismissed by the Dallas Cowboys, who wanted to part with his expensive contract. Since then Dez has been a guest of several teams, but without signing a contract.
Marshall, on the other hand, was recently exempted from the Seattle Seahawks, who found no way to involve the 34-year-old in their game. Marshall’s last visit was to the Detroit Lions.
The Saints could use some safe hands next to Michael Thomas. The video out caught against L.A. 12 of his 15 targets for 211 yards and a touchdown. But in Tre’Quan Smith there was only one Wide Receiver left that caught passports (2).
