Basketball: CL: Bayreuth doesn’t give itself any nudity

Medi Bayreuth celebrated his first victory in the Champions League (live on DAZN). The team beat Filou Oostende 87:71 and won for the first time after four matchdays.

The Upper Franconians went before the match day as the table last of the group D into the game. The opponents from Belgium, on the other hand, at least managed a victory and the hosts were forced to succeed.

After a balanced first half, the Bayreuthers came strong from the cabin and earned after 30 minutes a lead of eight points (61:53). The team of coach Korner Raoul Korner successfully defended the lead and won with 87:71 in the end. David Stockton was the outstanding player on this evening with 20 goals. Bayreuth will continue in the Bundesliga on Sunday against Frankfurt.
