NBA: Long break for Raptors-Swingman Powell

The Toronto Raptors will probably have to give up Swingman Norman Powell for four to six weeks. The role-player injured his shoulder in the game against Utah Jazz on Monday.

The 25-year-old partially dislocated his left shoulder and is listed by the Raptors as “indefinitely out”. There can therefore only be speculation about a time for his return.

Powell has an average of 15 minutes of play this season, scoring 5.0 points and 2.0 rebounds. Toronto is number 1 in the Eastern Conference with a record of 11-1. Last night they won the Sacramento Kings for the fifth time in a row.
