NBA: Warriors fear for curry – MRT on Friday

The Golden State Warriors not only lost the match against Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night, but also their two-time MVP: Stephen Curry had to be replaced in the third quarter with an injury to the left adductor. On Friday, an MRI examination will provide information on how long he will be absent.

“I’m not nervous. I don’t have a reference point. If it was about the ankle, I could probably say it would be four, twelve days or whatever,” Curry said to ESPN. “But we’ll see. I’ve never had this injury before, so I really can’t tell.”

Curry had injured himself in the middle of the third quarter when he tried to defend an action by Bucks-Guard Eric Bledsoe. Afterwards he continued playing for a short while, but then had to break off and be brought into the cabin.

Curry’s teammate Kevin Durant was not too worried after the game: “He looked pretty good for me,” said Durant. “Let’s see how he feels tomorrow. Hopefully it’s not a more serious matter.”

The Warriors had to make do without Draymond Green and Shaun Livingston in the game against Milwaukee. Green could, however, return on Monday against the Clippers from his toe injury.

Curry only scored 10 points against the Bucks, his lowest score of the season. Over the playing time Steph plays 29.5 points and 6.1 assists on average.
