The Brose Bamberg lost in the Basketball Champions League against Hapoel Jerusalem with 85:88. After three wins and three defeats, the nine-time German champion finds himself in the middle of the table.

The Bamberger had large parts of the tight game under control. In the final quarter, however, the team of coach Ainars Bagatskis reduced the game considerably and gave up the game.

Within three minutes Happoel, with NBA legend Amar’e Stoudemire under contract, turned the match around.

15.1 seconds before the end the Bamberg team needed a threesome at 85:88 to force the overtime, but Tyrese Rice missed the last chance with his throw 1.3 seconds before the end.

With three wins and three defeats, the Bamberg team is in 3rd place in Group C. To move into the next round, Rice and Co. need the fourth place in the table. Next week the Bagatskis troupe will travel on CEZ Nymburk (from 18.30 live on DAZN).
