After coach Maik Machulla had to do without Jim Gottfridsson (calf problems), Marius Steinhauser (cold), Magnus Röd (muscular problems) and Tobias Karlsson (concussion) in the first leg, it will only be decided at short notice who will be able to participate on Wednesday.
Machulla is confident despite the tense staffing situation. “In contrast to the first leg, we now have two training sessions in preparation and can analyse the first leg,” said the SG coach and drew a positive conclusion from the first leg: “I am very proud of the fantastic handball of my boys. They can even stand up to an absolute top European club – that’s how far the development of the team has advanced.”
