Ski-Alpin: Mowinckel takes women’s RTL, Brunner on third place

Stephanie Brunner has made the first podium place of her career perfect in the alpine Ski World Cup in Killington. The Tyrolean had to admit defeat on Saturday in the giant slalom as third by 0.78 seconds of the Italian Federica Brignone, second was the half-time leader Ragnhild Mowinckel from Norway (0.49).

It is the first podium finish for Austria in a World Cup giant slalom since 7 March 2016 in Jasna when Eva-Maria Brem won. Anna Veith was eighth in Killington, Katharina Liensberger improved her running time from 28th to ninth.
