Ski-Alpin: Women’s RTL: Mowinckel leads, Brunner third at halftime

Stephanie Brunner is on a podium course after the first run of the World Cup giant slalom of the alpine ski ladies in Killington (USA). The Tyrolean is third 0.44 seconds behind Ragnhild Mowinckel from Norway, who is 0.37 seconds ahead of Federica Brignone from Italy.

Behind Brunner are Tessa Worley (FRA/0.52), Viktoria Rebensburg (GER/0.53), Olympic champion Mikaela Shiffrin (USA/0.67) and Wendy Holdener (SUI/0.69) with close distances. After 30 runners Anna Veith was second best Austrian and ninth (0,92). The second round is scheduled for 19.00 CET.
