NBA: Simmons: “Butler makes everyone better here”

After the victory over the Memphis Grizzlies, Ben Simmons has spoken positively about Jimmy Butler, who was still clearly criticized by his ex-team, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

“Jimmy Butler makes everyone better here,” Simmons said after winning the Grizzlies, “He’s a very positive player.” According to Sixers insider Jon Johnson, all other players in the Locker Room of the Sixers have the same attitude to Butler. His attitude helps and makes the team as a whole better.

Butler came to the Sixers in the trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves for Dario Saric and Robert Covington. He already met two game winners in Philly dress.

Simmons also spoke to Jessica Camerato (NBC Sports) about his development this season. With his brother he studied a lot of video material. “I want to learn from my mistakes and see other possibilities. Defensive, where I have to stand. Offensively, which moves I can use,” explained Simmons.
