Alpine skiing: Alpine skiing: Val d’Isere women’s races take place in Val Gardena

According to the International Ski Federation (FIS), the women’s Alpine Ski World Cup races in Val d’Isere, which were scheduled for 14 to 16 December and cancelled due to a lack of snow, are to be held in Val Gardena.

The departure will therefore take place on Tuesday 18 December, the Super-G one day later. The Saslong track in S. Cristina is thus for the first time also the venue of women’s World Cup races.

The traditional men’s downhill run and a Super-G will be staged the weekend before, on 14 and 15 December. The women’s combination also planned for Val d’Isere will not take place. Here’s the calendar of the Ski World Cup in the overview!
