EHF suspends European Cup matches

The European Handball Federation (EHF) is suspending play in the Champions League and the EHF Cup for the time being until 12 April.

Due to the Corona pandemic, the European Handball Federation EHF has suspended the European Cup competitions until April 12th.

The federation will announce how the Champions League and the EHF Cup will continue in due course.

According to current planning, the cancelled matches will be made up for.

“The health well-being of the population has top priority at the moment. It is only logical and right that the EHF is now also making this decision,” said Flensburg’s managing director Dierk Schmäschke.

On Thursday, the German league association HBL had already suspended its playing operations until 23 April.
