NBA facility H-O-R-S-E competition

After the virtual tournament in NBA2K, the NBA wants to create another competition to make the corona crisis more bearable for the fans.

The NBA is working on another competition to be able to offer their fans something during the corona crisis.

According to a report from ESPN, the NBA plans to hold an H-O-R-S-E competition. This competition is to be broadcast in the USA on the ESPN television channel.

According to the report, several top-class stars are to take part in the competition, in which the aim is to imitate actions – for example a spectacular distance throw – of the respective predecessor.

H-O-R-S-E competition with players at home?
From 2008 to 2010 H-O-R-S-E was part of the All-Star Weekend.

The NBA plans to conduct the competition in such a way that players play at home on their own baskets. Currently, the regulations during the Corona pandemic do not allow for the joint play of several players at the same location.

Further details such as player names, schedule and concrete implementation are not yet known, but the league is already in talks with some stars.

Since the first positive corona tests in the NBA on March 12th, play has been suspended until further notice. Since Friday a tournament in the basketball animation NBA2K is already running, where 16 stars of the league compete in the video game.
