Four NFL players have Corona

Less than a week before the start of the NFL season, the league reports that four players are infected with Corona. Several club employees are also affected.

Four players from the NFL have tested positive for the corona virus almost a week before the start of the season.

As the league and the NFLPA players’ union announced, six employees in the vicinity of the clubs were also found to be infected.

These are the results of the test series from August 21 to 29. During this period, 23,279 tests were carried out on a total of 2747 players.

The rate of positive results is therefore negligible at 0.145 percent. All affected players have now been quarantined.

Confusion about corona testing in the NFL
Recently, an unusually high number of positive COVID-19 tests in the NFL had caused confusion.

Several teams were affected by incorrect test results among players and staff.

All of the false positives came from a laboratory in New Jersey and have since been verified.
