Colorado compensates without pitman

Colorado Avalanche balances without Philipp Grubauer against the Dallas stars. The German goalkeeper is suffering from an injury.

Colorado Avalanche continues to successfully defend himself against the NHL play-offs.

The team of the injured German goalkeeper Philipp Grubauer won 4-1 against the Dallas Stars in match six of the Best-of-Seven series in Edmonton and equalized in the quarter-finals 3-3. After defending the Texans’ second match point, Colorado itself has a chance to reach the semi-finals on Friday.

With one goal and one assist, Colorado’s Nathan MacKinnon extended his series to 14 consecutive games with at least one scorer point (nine goals and 16 assists). This is the second longest series in NHL history, he drew level with legends Bobby Orr and Mark Messier. The record is held by Bryan Trottier, who scored 18 consecutive times for the New York Islanders in 1981.
