NFL: Media: Goodell extension is imminent

The renewal of Commissioner Roger Goodell’s contract seems to be imminent.According to media reports, the problems some owners had with the 58-year-old’s extension were set aside.

It is not yet clear whether the contract will be signed in the next few days or in the coming weeks, but it will happen.

Among other things, cowboy owner Jerry Jones was one of those who had doubts about the extension of Goodell.Goodell is earning “way too much money” and should accept losses and make radical changes to the salary regulations for commissioners and other league representatives.ESPN report.

Goodell’s current contract expires in 2019.In ten years of his tenure, he has earned an average of over $21 million, earning a total of $212.5 million.
