Former world number one Angelique Kerber missed her second final of the year at the WTA Premier Tournament in Tokyo.The 29-year-old Kieler had to admit defeat in the semi-final after a weak start Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova with 0:6,7:6 (7:4), 4:6.In the final, the Russian will face the winner of the second semi-final match between top seeded Spain’s Garbine Muguruza and defending champion Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark/No. 3) and Kerber, who slipped to 14th place in the WTA ranking after a so far messed-up season, has only reached a WTA final this year.In April, she also lost to Pavlyuchenkova in Monterrey, Mexico.
