The schedule for the Olympic comeback of the German national team in Pyeongchang/South Korea is set for next February.In Group C, the DEB will be selected by Finland, Sweden and Norway for the final round of the tournament in Gangneung on the Japanese Sea.

“We got a demanding group.Finland and Sweden are two top nations that can rely on a broad and well-trained squad even without their NHL players,”said national coach Marco Sturm to the magazine Eishockey-News:”Norway, like us, will try to annoy the other two nations and put a foot on their shoulders”.

In Group A, Olympic champions Canada, the Czech Republic, Switzerland and South Korea will compete.

Group B consists of Russia, the USA, Slovakia and Slovenia.The three group winners as well as the best runners-up move directly into the quarter-finals.

The remaining eight teams will play four play-off games, with the winners completing the final eight.
