Handball: Champions League: Rhine-Neckar Lions with second victory

The German handball champion Rhein-Neckar Löwen has celebrated his second victory in the Champions League and set his sights on Group A leaders.

The team from Mannheim won the Swedish champion IFK Kristianstad with 35:22 (18:12) and came close to the leader HC Vardar Skopje from Macedonia with one point.

The first in the standings qualifies directly for the quarter-finals.The next five teams in the group of eight will move into the last sixteen.

Jerry Tollbring was the best thrower of the Bundesliga table leader with seven goals.
