WTA: Sabalenka first Tianjin finalist, Sharapova about to make her first final since comeback

Belarussian Aryna Sabalenka was the first lady to enter the final of the WTA tournament in Tianjin on Saturday.Sabalenka defeated the Italian Sara Errani 6:1 6:3.In the final she could now meet Maria Sharapova.

Sabalenka had little trouble in her semi-final victory.The number 102 in the world rankings will have ten aces throughout the match, and she also won all of her seven break points.Sabalenka has not yet delivered a single set throughout the tournament.

Sabalenka could meet Maria Sharapova in the final.The Russian, who has been waiting for her first final since her comeback from a doping ban, is playing against the Chinese Shuai Peng, who won the tournament last year and has only lost one match in Tianjin so far (12 matches).
