ATP: Gojowczyk eliminated in Antwerp, Mayer and Stebe play on Tuesday

Peter Gojowczyk (28) was the first German to be eliminated after a tough fight at the ATP tournament in Antwerp.The world rankings-68.from Munich was defeated by Belgian Ruben Bemelmans in his opening match after 2:27 hours by 6:4,6:7 (5:7), 6:7 (2:7).

On Tuesday Florian Mayer (Bayreuth) and Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (Vaihingen/Enz) will play their first round games at the indoor tournament, which is endowed with 660,375 Euro.Mayer will face the up-and-coming American Francis Tiafoe, while Stebe will face Steve Darcis from Belgium.
