ATP: Kohlschreiber hands out match balls – Out in Moscow

Philipp Kohlschreiber has been eliminated from the ATP World Tour 250 tournament in Moscow.The German number three gave away several chances to win against Andreas Seppi.

Philipp Kohlschreiber missed the quarter-finals at the ATP tournament in Moscow.The Augsburg player lost to the Italian Andreas Seppi 7:6 (7:4), 6:7 (1:7), 3:6.In the second set, the 34-year-old gave away three match points on a 6:5 score when the opponent hit the ball.After 2:21 hours, Seppi turned his third match point at 1:20 local time.Kohlschreiber was the only German starter in the Russian capital.

Kohlschreiber had to cancel the whole tour of the ATP in Asia due to an injury, the election kitzbüheler was last in St. Gallen.Petersburg – and was unable to compete against Ricardas Berankis in round two.Prior to that, Kohlschreiber had made it into the fourth round of the US Open, where he was defeated by Roger Federer in three sets at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
