ATP: Strong performance against Seppi

Dennis Novak has reached the qualifying finals of the ATP tournament in Vienna with a win over Andreas Seppi and will now meet the Italian Thomas Fabbiano.

The Austrian from Neufeld had to fight hard at the home tournament against his Italian opponent. In the match Novak was there in the decisive moments and won 6:4 and 7:6 (1) to secure the qualifying finals.

On Sunday, the 24-year-old will be confronted with the next Italian. Thomas Fabbiano and Andreas Haider-Maurer, another Austrian, took the lead in the race for the main draw. The duel went well with Fabbiano 6:3 and 6:2.

Sergiy Stakhovsky and Guillermo Garcia-Lopez will also meet. Simone Bolelli will fight against Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Guido Pella against Lukas Lacko for the remaining places in the main field in Vienna.
