ITF Round-up: Victory in Bad Salzdetfurth – First Future Title for Marvin Möller

Hopefully, Marvin Möller has won his first men’s future tournament in Bad Salzdetfurth.

The 18-year-old from Hamburg, currently number 904 in the ranking, won against top seeded Russian Evgeny Karlovskiy in a close match with 6:3,5:7,7:5.

For Möller, the triumph at the ITF-Future, endowed with 15,000 US dollars, was the first in a men’s event. In the semi-final Möller had won against Lucas Catarina from Monaco with 6:2,6:1.

Julian Lenz also reached the semi-finals at the $25,000 tournament in Santa Margherita Di Pula, Italy. He was defeated by the Italian Andrea Basso with 3:6,6:3,3:6.

A double victory was celebrated by Julyette Maria Josephine Steur. The 22-year-old won the double event in Hammamet/Tunisia (15,000 US dollars) with 6:4,4:6,[10:7] over Loudmilla Bencheikh/Yasmine Mansouri from France alongside the Finnish Mia Eklund.
