Daniel Masur has won the German-German final at the ITF-Tournament in Hamburg (USD 15,000). He defeated Daniel Altmaier 6-3,3-6,6-3.
It was the final of the top seed – and Masur, who was listed on two of the list, won it all. It was the first ITF single title this year for the 22-year-old. In the doubles, too, there was a domestic victory: Marvin Möller won at the side of the Frenchman Dan Added against Altug Celikbilek/Anil Yuksel 6:7 (3), 7:6 (4),[10:2].
At the ATP-Challenger level, Yannick Maden went into the semi-finals in Brest (France, €108,000) for Yannick Maden, defeated the top-set Daniil Medvedev from Russia 6:7 (1), 4:6.
At the ITF in Poitiers/France, which was endowed with 100,000 US dollars, the semi-finals ended with the top seeded Tatjana Maria. She lost to the Romanian Mihaela Buzarnescu 4-6,2-6; the Swiss comeback Belinda Bencic also lost to Alison van Uytvanck in the semi-final.
The 18-year-old had beaten the Ukrainian Anastasiya Shoshyna, who had been seeded on three occasions, 6-2,3-6,7-6,7-6 (9) in round one. In the semi-final, Emilie Francati from Denmark lost 6-2,3-6,4-6,4-6.
