ATP: Paris: Struff fails at the start

Jan-Lennard Struff has already failed at the ATP-Masters in Paris for the start. The world ranking-48. was defeated by the three positions lower led Croatian Borna Coric 3:6,4:6.

27-year-old Struff lost his first service game in both sets. It’s his twelfth first-round defeat in 2017.

From a German point of view, Alexander Zverev (Hamburg/No. 4) and Lucky Loser Peter Gojowczyk (Munich) are still competing at the last Masters of the year. Zverev will face Robin Haase from the Netherlands after a walk-through in the second round on Wednesday, while Gojowczyk will play against the Austrian Dominic Thiem, who has already taken fifth place on Tuesday evening.
