ATP: Sock buries Benneteau hopes – another victory to London

Jack Sock is in the final of the Masters Tournament of Paris-Bercy. He beat Frenchman Julien Benneteau in two sets in the semi-final.

7:5,6:2 was the score for the 25-year-old American after 1 hour and 18 minutes. Sock scored 15 of the last 17 points against a seemingly tired Benneteau, who had won against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, David Goffin and Marin Cilic in the course of the week and had raised hopes for his first victory in the tournament. Benneteau has been in the final of an ATP tournament ten times, but has always been the second winner.

For Sock, the final match against sensational man Filip Krajinovic (from 3 p. m. CET) is about a lot: on the one hand about his biggest career success in the singles and on the other hand about the last remaining place at the ATP finals in London. If Sock wins, he’s got it, otherwise he goes to Pablo Carreno Busta.
