A victory, a final, a semi-final – and a double victory for the Austrian forces from the second row.

Maximilian Neuchrist won the final against the Italian Alessandro Bega 7-6 (4), 6-3. In the semi-final, Neuchrist had prevailed against his compatriot David Pichler, who had been seeded two times, 6:4,6:7 (5), 7:6 (5). For the 26-year-old New Christ, it was the second individual ITF victory of the year and the tenth overall.

Matthias Haim made it to the final of the ITF tournament in Heraklion/Greece, which was endowed with US$15,000. In the quarter-finals, he took Tallon Griekspoor from the Netherlands, who had won in two seeded matches, 7:6 (3), 6:3 from the race and benefited in the semi-finals from the Frenchman Laurent Lokoli’s absence. In the final, Haim was defeated by Andres Artunedo Martinavarro of Spain 2-6,3-6. The 19-year-old, on the other hand, celebrated a win in the doubles’ match: alongside Swiss Adrian Bodmer, he won 7-6 (5), 6-4 in the final against Germain Gigoudon/Dominik Kellovsky.

Dennis Novak had to retire from the semi-finals in Antalya/Turkey in the 15,000cc race. The top seeded Novak was defeated by the Italian Davide Galoppini with 4:6,1:6.
