Stan Wawrinka has not been on the tennis court since July of this year. Now the Swiss man is back on the training course after a knee injury and is working on his comeback.
Probably the best backhand in world tennis is back on the court. Stan Wawrinka showed up in a video on his Insatgram account during training – and that looks both aesthetically pleasing and full of power. The Swiss man has been suffering from knee problems since late summer and had to undergo surgery. Shortly before the US Open “Stan the Man” announced his season out and devoted himself to regeneration.
This seems to have been successful, just as the backhand shows in the video.
He added:”First training since July! I’m so happy and excited! Destroy hats with my backhand!”
The fans of the 32-year-old express their joy at the return of the “Stanimal” in the comments. Roger Federer’s compatriot lost 2000 points as the defending champion of the US Open and dropped from third to seventh place in the world rankings. At the beginning of the 2018 season, Wawrinka wants to attack again and will most likely make his comeback on the tour in Australia.
