NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins top the table

National player Tom Kühnhackl missed the jump back to the top of the Metropolitan Division standings in the NHL with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The “pens” lost 1:4 in the Washington Capitals and are second with 20 points behind the New Jersey Devils, the championship leaders with the same points. Kühnhackl stayed in a good ten minutes without scoring points.

Philipp Grubauer did not play in Washington, nor did his goalkeeper colleague Thomas Greiss and defender Dennis Seidenberg in the New York Islanders’ 5-0 defeat of the Dallas Stars.
