ATP Finals: The knee – Nadal is out in London

For Rafael Nadal, the ATP finals are over in 2017: The Spaniard had to announce his retirement from the tournament after his match against David Goffin due to a knee injury.

Rafael Nadal struggled against David Goffin for three sets – in the end the Belgian won 7-6 (5), 6-7 (4) and 6-4. Against an industry leader who has never been able to exploit its full potential. Nadal was unable to compete in his quarter-finals against Filip Krajinovic at the last ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the year in Paris-Bércy. Now it was the knee again that forced the number one in the world to retreat.
