ATP Finals: Kubot/Melo first doubles in semi-finals

Best doubles of the year on title course: Top seeded Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo were the first doubles to advance to the final round of the ATP Final in London.

The Pole and the Brazilians, who had won the Wimbledon tournament together this summer, defeated the twins Bob and Mike Bryan (No. 5) in their second of three group matches in just over an hour with 6:4,6:3.

The two Americans had won the title four times at the season-end tournament so far. The opponents of Kubot (35) and Melo (34) have not yet been determined. The titleholders in the British metropolis are Henri Kontinen from Finland and John Peers from Australia.
