ATP/WTA: DTB President Klaus re-elected

Ulrich Klaus remains President of the German Tennis Association (DTB). The 67-year-old was unanimously confirmed for a second term of office until 2020 on Sunday at the Association Day in Wiesbaden. The retired teacher has headed the DTB since November 2014.

“In 2020, German tennis should be among the top three nations in the world in top-class and junior performance sports,” said Klaus, setting ambitious goals:”It is my dream and my hope that we will continue on the path of continuous growth.

Dirk Hordorff was also unanimously re-elected as Vice President for Top Sport, Education and Training. Eva-Maria Schneider (youth sports) and Hans-Wolfgang Kende (law and marketing) were also confirmed in their departments. New members of the Presidium are Dieter Göken (Finance), Karl-Heinz Kutz (Sports Development) and Thomas Heil (Competition Sport).
