“This is certainly the most coveted trophy on the WTA Tour and it was an indescribable feeling when I won it,”said Siegemund. The keys for the winning car were handed over to Anke Huber, Sports Director of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, and Franko Dorow, Director of the Porsche Centre Stuttgart.
Shortly after the Stuttgart victory, Siegemund had already had to end her season after a rupture of the cruciate ligament on her right knee in Nuremberg. She is currently on her way to a comeback. And of course she also wants to defend her title at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix 2018: The 41st place. The 21st edition of the most popular women’s tournament takes place from 21. till 29.
