ATP: The “Djoker” is back again

Novak Djokovic is back. The Serbian is back in training after a long injury break at the elbow and is working on his comeback to the tour.

Novak Djokovic can finally get back to his profession. After a long injury break, the Serbian returns to the court and works on his comeback. Only a few hours before he announced his collaboration with his fellow countryman Radek Stepanek as coach, he presented an instagram post.

Stepanek recently announced the end of his career and put the racket away as an active professional, and speculation about the cooperation between the two Serbs has been repeated in recent weeks. Stepanek will now be appearing as coach alongside the twelve-time Grand Slam winner.

It is becoming increasingly likely that this will also be the case in January at the beginning of the season. After an injury to the elbow, the “Djoker” announced the end of the season last summer. The physiotherapist and his mental coach provided snapshots for the regeneration of the ex-number-one. The comeback at the turn of the year always had top priority and now seems to be fulfilled. However, when Djokovic returns to the tour, the Serbian will have to accept a new situation regarding the ranking. The 30-year-old dropped back to twelfth place in the world rankings after a long break.
