ATP: Novak Djokovic with further reinforcement for his coaching team

Novak Djokovic has added an extra man to his team of coaches. After Radek Stepanek was officially introduced as tour coach a few weeks ago, the Serbian has now brought in a true strategy expert.

Renowned tennis analyst Craig O’ Shannessy has announced that he is involved in the 30-year-old’s preparations for next season and will be accompanying him to the Australian Open.

“Andre Agassi and Radek Stepanek did a great job of organizing this week,” said O’ Shannessy from Monte Carlo. I have learned so much and have been able to raise my coaching to a new level within a very short time. This is definitely a highlight in my career.”

O’ Shannessy is known in tennis circles for his meticulous data analysis, which he uses to prepare players for their opponents.

He scored his greatest success to date in Wimbledon in 2015, when he helped the German Dustin Brown to defeat Rafael Nadal at the Center Court.
