Olympia 2018: CAS decision on Thursday on Russia cases

On Thursday, the International Sports Court CAS announced its decision on the Russian cases. 39 Russian athletes filed an appeal against their lifelong Olympic suspensions.

The so-called Oswald Commission had excluded the athletes from all Olympic Games functions for life because of involvement in the doping scandal at the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi.

The Court of Justice will rule on Thursday at 9.00 a. m. CET at the main media centre of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang (9. till 25. February) to make a brief statement. A detailed press release will then be published on the CAS website.
