Alpine Skiing: World Cup: Slope weakens – program changed

Unfavourable weather in the past few days and the resulting difficult piste conditions on Kandahar have mixed up the programme at the Alpine Ski World Cup in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Because the second scheduled training on Friday also had to be cancelled because of the fragile track, the women’s sprint run scheduled for Saturday (10.30 a. m. / 12.30 p. m.) cannot take place as planned in two races.

The necessary training will now take place on Saturday at 10 am. The sprint departure is scheduled for 12.30 o’ clock, but will be shortened to one run. This was announced by the organizers on Friday afternoon.

The special departure scheduled for Sunday (12.30 hrs) will take place as planned according to the current status. The race will be the last one before the Olympic Games in Pyeongchang (9th place). till 25. February).
