Davis Cup: Struff loses: DTB selection wins the match in Australia

The German Davis Cup team won the first round match against Australia 1-1. After leading player Alexander Zverev had taken the lead in Brisbane with his five-match win over Alex de Minaur, Jan-Lennard Struff lost to Nick Kyrgios 4-6,4-6,4-6,4-6.

On Saturday (4.00 hrs CET/DAZN) the doubles will take place. The decision to enter the quarter-finals will be made on Sunday (from 3:00 a. m. CET/DAZN).

The winner of the match will face either Great Britain or Spain, and the loser will play for a place in the world’s top 16 tennis nations in September.
